Tour to the Totumo Volcano


Duration: 5 hour(s) - Location: Totumo Volcano between Cartagena and Barranquilla

Before we arrive to the Totumo Volcano, we will visit several small towns on the way from Cartagena towards Barranquilla. You will be able to take a bath in the mud of the volcano, which serves to clean and make your skin soft. Then, you can swim in the lagoon next to it, climb the volcano and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. On the way back, we will make a picnic stop to observe the Mangrovians.

Itinerary

  • The tour starts from the city of Cartagena and we take the road in direction Barranquilla
  • We will arrive to the volcano in about one hour and there you will take a bath in the healthy mud
  • Then you can also participate in other activities like climbing the volcano and enjoying the surrounding areas
  • 2 hours later, we will start our way back and stop for a picnic to observe the mangrovians
  • Then, we will drop you off again at your accommodation in Cartagena de Indias
